1.6 Multiple-Choice Questions
School Policy
  • 'Higher-order learning' - Where the format of MCQs is ‘higher-order learning’ (e.g. requiring students to analyse and evaluate information, and explain or justify their chosen answer(s) to receive marks), or when assessments are individualised, the maximum amount can be up to 50% of all assessments combined and the final grade for the course.

 

  • 'Lower-order learning' - Where the format of the MCQs is ‘lower-order learning’ (e.g. demonstrating recall, understanding and/or selecting the best answer(s) to receive marks), the maximum amount remains as 30% of all the assessments combined and final grade for the course.
